What does the DPDP Act mean for our AI systems?
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 governs how you collect, process, and store personal data, including anything you feed to an AI model. In practice that means consent tracking, purpose limitation, deletion on request, and breach notification. We build those controls into the system rather than bolting them on afterwards.
